5 days and counting until my one and only moves to college at Clemson! :/ Wow... It seriously doesn't seem real...

Dorm living...?? Help a mom OUT!

So .... Anybody decorated a dorm room lately for guys?? Uh... Yeah... "Decorate - dorm room - guys" shouldn't even be used in the same sentence is what I'm very quickly learning!! We found some bedding;)
and some shelves... Got the futon! But my dilemma is their walls and curtains!! No HOLES in the walls... What's a girl ... Errr "guy" to do?? Suggestions??

The Graduate ....

I am now the mom of a high school graduate ... (how is that possible???)  And he's heading to college in a week!  YIKES!!!!  They grow up WAY TOO FAST!!!

I have GAS....

Yep, you read that right ... I have gas!! A NEW GAS COOKTOP... Wooohoooo!!!!! And I love, love, LURVEEE IT! I am amazed at how quickly we can whip up a meal now!

WHAT have I been thinking all of these years using those "electric" cooktops??? And wait, if my hubby is reading this he's probably thinking "HER using the cooktop?" I will admit, he does just as much if not MORE cooking than I do;)) Can you say LUCKY?

Now I just need to come up with a great backsplash... Subway tiles are calling my name:)

What do ya think? Interior decorator anyone??
